As part of its ongoing campaign against automobile snatching instances throughout Sindh, the AVLC recently retrieved a car that had been taken from Jamshoro and driven into Karachi’s Gulistan-e-Jauhar neighborhood.
The car was given to Maaz, the owner, according to SSP Arif Aslam Rao. He said that the kidnappers had been located and that raids were being made to apprehend them.
The citizen thanked the AVLC for helping him find his stolen car.
Maaz reported that he filed a police report (FIR) regarding the theft of his car, which occurred outside a restaurant in Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block, 1.

The Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) study states that in June 2024, there was an increase in street crimes in Karachi.
According to the research, 40 people died in Karachi street crimes as a result of thwarting robberies.
In June 2024, 135 cars were stolen and 24 cars were stolen from different locations in Karachi. According to the CPLC report, 2,792 motorcycles were stolen in June and 564 were taken at gunpoint.
In June, cops and other law enforcement organizations retrieved up to 196 motorcycles and 80 automobiles.
