LAHORE: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan’s physical remand in May 9 charges was deemed “null and void” by the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Thursday.
Judges Tariq Saleem Sheikh and Anwar-ul-Haq Pannu made up the two-member bench that deferred rulings on the petitions contesting the physical remand of the former prime minister.
The notice of the PTI founder’s appearance via the video link was deemed void by the high court as well.
Judge Saleem stated during today’s session that the suspect cannot be made to do a photogrammetry test against their will.
Pannu, meantime, asked the prosecution when he came up with the notion that we have to start using modern technology right away.
