The All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA) revealed figures indicating that the industry’s local cement dispatches in January 2025 were 3.313 million tons, up 11.64% from 2.967 million tons in January 2024. As volumes rose from 446,595 tons in January 2024 to 581,691 tons in January 2025, export dispatches also rose by 30.25%. The total amount of cement shipped in January 2025 was 3.894 million tons, up 14.08% from the 3.414 million tons sent in the same month of the previous fiscal year.
Cement mills in the North shipped 2.728 million tons of cement in January 2025, a 12.08% increase over the 2.434 million tons shipped in January 2024. 1.166 million tons of cement were shipped by mills in the South.
