During the next Champions Trophy 2025, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed on Wednesday that Indian players’ shirts will include the ICC’s official emblem, which includes Pakistan’s stamp to promote the host country.
In an exclusive interview with an Indian cricket news website, recently appointed BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia revealed that the official logo of the tournament, which includes the name of the host country, Pakistan, will be displayed on the Indian team’s jersey.
He went on to say that the BCCI will adhere to the rules set down by the International Cricket Council (ICC) for the men’s Champions Trophy, particularly with regard to wearing the official ogo.
Saikia declared, “We will adhere to whatever the ICC guidelines are.”
Adding, “We will follow the ICC directive,”
