In advance of the eagerly awaited ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi revealed Friday that the recently refurbished Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and the National Stadium in Karachi would be opened on February 7 and February 11, respectively.
At the Gaddafi Stadium, Naqvi informed the media that the Lahore stadium would be opened on February 7, “God willing.”
The chairman further stated that President Asif Ali Zardari would inaugurate the stadium in Karachi, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would do the same for the stadium in Lahore.
Additionally, he stated that the stadium’s refurbishment is nearing completion, with workers adding finishing touches, and that all of the work would be finished by February 7.
