On Thursday, a team from the International Cricket Council (ICC) paid a visit to Karachi’s National Bank Stadium to assess the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 preparations.
The six-member delegation, which included broadcasters, logistics staff, and important ICC officials, carefully examined the arrangements.
The visit was intended to confirm that all facilities required for the tournament, which is scheduled to start on February 19, 2025, are available.
The delegation received a thorough briefing on the stadium’s ongoing improvement projects from Usman Wahla, Director of International Cricket at the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).
