LAHORE: On Friday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) revealed the much-anticipated team for the tri-nation series against South Africa, New Zealand, and Pakistan in the ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025.
The cricket board said in a statement that the 15-player team that played in the ODI series in South Africa late last year has four alterations.
Khushdil Shah, Saud Shakeel, Faheem Ashraf, and Fakhar Zaman have taken the places of Abdullah Shafique, Muhammad Irfan Khan, Saim Ayub, and Sufyan Moqim.
Mohammad Rizwan will captain the team, with Salman Ali Agha serving as vice-captain. Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, and Fakhar Zaman are also part of the 2017 championship team.
