According to Mohsin Naqvi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Pakistan is prepared to allay India’s worries about crossing the border to compete in the 2025 Champions Trophy.
“If India has concerns, it should inform us, we will address its reservations,” Naqvi, who also serves as the interior minister, told reporters on Monday at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
According to reports, India has declined to travel to Pakistan for the big tournament with Islamabad. Islamabad has already showed courtesy by refusing to change its position of hosting the event, even though several other countries have already been to play matches there.
Following the PCB’s response to an email alerting Pakistan about India’s plan to forego travel to the neighboring nation for the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) meeting, the ICC is currently left with few options.
