During the Champions Trophy journey to the provincial capital of Sindh, Sarfaraz Ahmed, the former captain of Pakistan, has captured the fans’ attention.
Details emerged on Friday indicating that Ahmed, the captain who won the Champions Trophy, had traveled to the private institution when the trophy was there.
As Ahmed relived the memories of Pakistan’s victory in 2017, fans were enthralled.
The trophy, meanwhile, kept traveling across Karachi.
Barrister Murtaza Wahab, the mayor of Karachi, disagreed, saying that “it would be better for India to keep the politics out of the sports.”
It is important to note that the trophy’s next destination before the competition, which is scheduled to take place in Pakistan in February of next year, will be Afghanistan.
