Actor Charlie Sheen is said to have been beaten by his neighbor at his Los Angeles home on December 20th, in a distressing episode.
Following an altercation, the 47-year-old lady reportedly forced her way into Sheen’s home and choked the 58-year-old.
TMZ was informed by law enforcement sources that the lady tore Sheen’s shirt and grabbed at his neck as soon as he opened the door. She was then taken into custody on charges of burglary and assault with a deadly weapon.
Before the incident, Sheen had recently made public discussions about sobriety.
The former cast member of Two and a Half Men celebrated six years sober this month, attributing his boys’ 14-year-old twins’ success to his new way of life.
During an interview, Sheen discussed the adjustments.
“I’m proud of the choices I’ve made and the changes I’ve made to live a life today that will never look like that mess,” he stated to People.
Sheen talked about the incident that made him sober, describing how he was too drunk one morning to take his daughter to her doctor. He changed as a result of his regret over that encounter.
Sheen stated, “And the next morning I just stopped.” His relationships started to improve after that. He maintained that moving forward, living sober was a better fit for him.
