After calling a Metropolitan Police officer “stupid and white,” Chelsea striker Sam Kerr was found not guilty of racially aggravated harassment.
She was exonerated by a Kingston Crown Court jury for an incident that occurred on January 30, 2023, in Twickenham, southwest London.
Ms. Kerr, 31, claimed that after a taxi driver took her to a police station after a fight, she was “antagonized” by the policemen.
Although the Australian international who used the term “stupid and white” did not deny using it, he denied that it was a racist offense.
The jury deliberated for four hours before finding Ms. Kerr not guilty.
Before she and her fiancé, West, left the courthouse, she gave her legal team the thumbs up.
