BEIJING: China has underlined its commitment to collaborating with Pakistani authorities to enhance security cooperation and guarantee the security of its personnel who are from China.
Speaking on Monday, Mao Ning, the spokeswoman for China’s foreign ministry, stated that Beijing will keep helping Islamabad in its investigation into the Dasu incident in order to find and punish the terrorists responsible.
The spokespersons remarked, “We attach great importance to the important press conference made by Pakistan,” in reference to the news conference that Pakistani officials had in regard to the suicide bombing that claimed the lives of numerous Chinese citizens in March.
Her comments are in reference to a press conference that Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and representatives of the National Counter-Terrorism Authority (Necta) jointly conducted, during which the minister urged Afghanistan to hand over the militants involved in Dasu attack in which six people including five Chinese nationals were killed after a suicide bomber rammed into their vehicle in Bisham.
