The top Chinese diplomat has reaffirmed Beijing’s steadfast support in the battle against militancy and stated that international cooperation can assist Pakistan in curbing the rise of terrorism in the nation.
Following the recent terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express, Yang Yundong, the Chinese consul general in Karachi, stated that China was keeping a careful eye on the situation in Pakistan. He offered his sympathies to the families of the victims and denied the act. He reiterated China’s strong support for Pakistan in its war on terrorism and its opposition to terrorism in all its manifestations.
He also promised to help restore law and order and bring the offenders to justice.
This was stated by the Chinese consul general during a press conference at the Chinese Consulate General.
