At a holiday dinner hosted by a billionaire, Chris Rock left a comedic performance unfinished.
Rock became upset over being videotaped and rushed out of Anthony Pratt’s winter holiday party, where he was executive chairman of Pratt Industries.
The audience was taken by surprise when Rock appeared between the acts of country artist Keith Urban and comedian Wali Collins.
The Madagascar star started his set by making fun of the political climate in the United States while wearing a casual outfit.
“Space will be our next thrust. He joked, “We’ll put all the Mexicans on the rockets.”
Cindy Adams, a gossip columnist for the New York Post, claimed that shortly after, he appeared angry after noticing something in the audience.
She writes, “Whatever he saw—or thought he saw—upset him.”
