Brinkley, 70, who has been featured on the cover of multiple Sports Illustrated issues, asked the doctor to examine a mole when she was going through a normal check-up with her daughter.
The model and actress from America claimed that while doing makeup, she noticed a “little tiny dot” and nearly ignored it because it wasn’t her appointment.
However, Brinkley stated in an Instagram post that the doctor “knew immediately” that she needed a biopsy after looking at it.
She posted two pictures of herself: one with stitches and the other with bandages on right after the procedure.
