Speaking candidly about her close relationship with Katey Sagal, Christina Applegate described her as a “safe space” on the Married… with Children set.
Sagal joined Jamie-Lynn Sigler and Applegate’s MeSsy podcast on March 4th to discuss their work and personal lives.
Applegate remarked that Sagal was more significant to her than she even realized during her 11-season run on Married… with Children.
The actress, 53, said, “You were a safe space for me.” The fact that you had survived is what gave me such comfort. You were now on that side of strength, which I needed because you had experienced a lot of life, scarring, and events.
