KARACHI: Following the release of a traffic diversion plan by the Karachi Traffic Police for two distinct chup tazia processions on Friday, city commuters are encouraged to utilise designated routes.
Every year on the eighth of Rabi-ul-Awwal, Nishtar Park is the site of the first of two chup tazia processions, which set off at 6:30 a.m. It will come to an end at the Moosa Lane neighborhood’s Noor Bagh, Musafir Khana.
The routes that this parade will cross are MA Jinnah Road, Saddar Dawakhana, and Capri. It is expected that both processions would end at approximately 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.
Incoming traffic from the Gurumandir Chowk was redirected to the Bahadur Yar Jung Road at Soldier Bazaar in order to guarantee the procession’s seamless passage.
