Maryam Nawaz, the chief minister of Punjab, announced on Thursday possibilities for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and zero-interest loans throughout the state.
In a high-profile event held at the Chief Minister’s Office, CM Maryam announced the “Asaan Karobar Finance” and “Asaan Karobar Card” schemes. Among the dignitaries in attendance were top provincial ministers, representatives from the Bank of Punjab, and business executives.
Interest-free loans with flexible repayment terms, ranging from Rs 1 million to Rs 30 million, were made available through the Asaan Karobar Finance Scheme. In the meantime, loans ranging from Rs 500,000 to Rs 1 million were offered through the Asaan Karobar Card. Eligible candidates were encouraged to apply online right away, while helpline 1786 provided more information.
According to CM Maryam, “These plans could change Punjab’s and Pakistan’s future.
