RAWALPINDI: The military’s media wing announced that General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), met with Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman on Wednesday. The two men talked about bilateral topics, such as defense and security cooperation.
The Saudi crown prince welcomed the army leader, who is presently on an official visit to Saudi Arabia, at the Royal Palace, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The two dignitaries had a “depth conversation on a variety of topics of shared interest, such as regional peace, defense and security cooperation, and methods for improving bilateral relations.”
During the meeting, COAS Munir praised the Saudi crown prince for his “steadfast support” of Pakistan and recognized his important contribution to regional peace and stability.
