Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced in a statement Thursday that General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), has promised to hold those responsible for the deadly Bannu Cantonment attack accountable.
The ISPR reports that security forces killed all 16 terrorists who tried to enter Bannu Cantonment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after successfully stopping a despicable terrorist attack two days prior.
However, according to the military’s media wing, five soldiers were also martyred during the gunfight while demonstrating valiant resistance.
