On December 31, Ana Ofelia Murguía, who was 90 years old, passed away.
In addition to winning two Oscars in 2018 for Best Original Song and Best Animated Feature, the Mexican actress gained notoriety for her role as Mama Coco in Disney’s animated picture Coco.
The announcement was made on Monday by Mexico’s National Institute of Fine Arts and Literature.
