According to law enforcement officials cited by TMZ on Thursday, stand-up comic Ken Flores looked to have experienced a heart attack.
Flores, identified as Kenyi, passed away on Tuesday, January 28, according to local media, citing online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The reason of death was not stated. The death of the 28-year-old performer was found at his residence on Tuesday at approximately 2:00 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Times.
On Wednesday, the comedian’s family posted the heartbreaking news of his passing on Instagram.
We regret to inform you of the sudden death of our friend, brother, and son, Kenyi Flores. We are all surprised and heartbroken by this loss, so please respect our privacy at this time,” the statement said.
