PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur expressed reservations on Saturday about the Center’s “interference” in the province’s administrative issues, just days after the federal government informed a steering group for development efforts in the combined districts — the former Fata.
KP Chief Minister Gandapur threatened to petition the Supreme Court to protect his province’s constitutional rights in a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The letter claimed that the announcement on the committee’s formation was a denial of the provincial government’s authority in addition to being a breach of the Constitution.
