QUETTA: A bombing near a police mobile vehicle in the Kirani Road neighborhood of Quetta resulted in the martyrdom of a police officer and the injuries of five others.
Sarfaraz Bugti, the chief minister of Balochistan, paid respect to the police officer who was killed and denounced the event on Sunday.
According to officials cited by The News, the explosion happened late on Saturday night when an ATF van was monitoring the route, and the deceased was an ATF member. Three of the injured were reportedly in critical condition.
After racing to the scene, police surrounded the area with barricades. The Bolan Medical Hospital Complex was the new location for the injured.
Muhammad Dilbar, an ATF official, died as a result of severe injuries.
It was a roadside bombing, according to the police.
