KARACHI: Police told News on Saturday that methamphetamine, also known as crystal meth, was discovered in the suspect’s blood and urine tests, leading them to file another case against her in connection with the Karsaz road disaster.
The woman’s blood and urine samples were taken by Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) shortly after the fatal occurrence, according to the police.
They also mentioned that a new report from the medico-legal officer (MLO) constituted the basis for a case that was launched on behalf of the state against the suspect.
The case now includes a part about using forbidden items, according to the police.
They added that the blood sample taken from the detained suspect had proven evidence of prohibited drug traces.
Karachi Additional Inspector General of Police Javed did not provide any information.
