On Wednesday, the district government made the decision to enforce a curfew for Thursday, March 27, in both North and South Waziristan.
Details indicate that the notification was also sent out in this respect. The local authorities have announced that all key highways between the Dattakhel tehsil and the Saidgai checkpoint in FR Bannu will stay closed.
Similarly, all roads from the Razmak subdivision to the Ghulam Khan tehsil, which is situated at the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, would continue to be closed.
“Due to security concerns, a curfew will be implemented in South Waziristan tomorrow, March 27,” stated Deputy Commissioner Saleem Khan.
The deputy commissioner made it clear that this curfew will be ias of now from 06:00 am to 06:00 pm.
