After its 12-year contract expires, Daewoo Pakistan Express Bus Service Limited, which runs and maintains Peshawar’s Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, has decided to give TransPeshawar ownership of its 244 buses.
CEO of Daewoo Pakistan Faisal Ahmed Siddiqui affirmed the company’s intention to waive the ownership provision in a letter to the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This will enable a seamless transfer of buses while upholding other contractual duties.
