DALLAS: In partnership with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Center of Excellence for Community Services (CECS), an event called “Human Rights and International Oppression” was held in Carrollton, Texas.
In addition to FBI officials, community leaders from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, representatives from several human rights organizations, and Carrollton Mayor Steve Babick participated in the event.
The forum’s main goal was to increase public understanding of justice and the law so that citizens who are threatened in the US or overseas know how to get assistance.
Mayor Babick greeted the visitors and emphasized the value of these gatherings for the community, pointing out that Carrollton is a center for people of all countries and religions and that events like this promote legal knowledge.
