The renowned James Bond actor Daniel Craig, who has played the role for more than ten years, has commented on Amazon’s acquisition of the property.
On Thursday, February 20, Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced that they would relinquish creative control of the James Bond series to Amazon MGM.
In an interview with Variety, the 56-year-old actor stated that his regard for Wilson and Broccoli, the film’s producers, is still “undiminished.”
“I still have the same and undiminished respect, admiration, and love for Barbara and Michael,” Craig stated.
“I hope Barbara’s future endeavors will be amazing, and I hope I can be a part of them,” he continued. “I wish Michael a long, happy, and well-earned retirement.”
