Josh O’Connor, actor of The Crown, has been cast as James Bond in place of Daniel Craig.
According to an informant who spoke to In Touch, “Daniel has all but publicly stated that he believes Josh O’Connor should be the next 007 and has been thoroughly impressed with Josh since Josh’s star-making run on Netflix’s The Crown.”
The mole clarified that the reason the Knives Out star has supported Josh is because of his remarkable acting ability and the fact that his persona differs from Daniel’s.
The main issue is that Daniel still gives the 007 producers advice on how to run the series, and Josh has a very different vibe than Daniel.
