American Jews, raw and hurt, watched as mobs gathered in the streets of American cities. The crowds in the streets weren’t marching in support of the raped and killed. There were plenty of them, and they were joyful and jubilant.

But a closer look showed that it was limited to areas where Democrats held a majority of the power, not that it was occurring everywhere. Not that antisemitism is impossible in places with a crimson tint. It can; it does. Republican-led establishments are not immune to acts of vandalism, verbal abuse, or even physical violence. However, the incidence is much less common, and the true distinction lies in the outcomes.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) reports that Massachusetts (440), Florida (463), New York (1,218), California (1,266), and New Jersey (830) had the most incidences. There are four blue states among those states. In Florida, the state of my red home, we had almost the same amount of it.
