The former first lady urged the opposition and media to cease referring to Donald Trump as a “threat to democracy” in her first interview in over two years, describing her husband’s two attempts at suicide as “miracles.”.
“Is it really shocking that my husband is the target of all this heinous violence?” she asked. especially considering that he is being called derogatory names and is being branded as a danger to democracy by opposition party leaders and the mainstream media?
Following the initial attempt on her life in July during a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Trump claimed that a staff member had informed her of the gunfire.
She claimed to have witnessed television news from the scene of the second attempt at Mr. Trump’s Florida golf property earlier this month while she was in New York.
“The men who were with him were excellent. “I believe that both incidents were true miracles,” she remarked, referring to her husband’s survival of the two assassination attempts.
