In a recent interview with Cosmopolitan, Lenz stated, “There’s something really powerful in putting things out in the open and being an open book and being honest in the good, bad, and ugly.”
Lenz, whose biography, “Dinner for Vampires: Life on a Cult TV Show,” is on her experiences, was a member of the Big House Family, an Idaho commune-like society.

Mike Diamond, the author of “A Dose of Positivity,” a celebrity interventionist, and a Certified Addiction Recovery Expert, told News. These cults aim to provide superstars with the necessary shield from the spotlight, which can be seductive.
Because of her connection to The Big House Family, Lenz voiced her disapproval of certain aspects of “One Tree Hill” while playing Haley, such as the character’s risqué clothing choices.
Being a member of this club made me feel even more responsible since I felt obligated to uphold my beliefs. She said that as a result, I was even more unforgiving on set when it came to things that I didn’t agree with or felt uneasy about.
