RAWALPINDI: According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday, security forces killed at least ten terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in the Dera Ismail Khan area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to a statement from the military’s media wing, on March 20, 2025, security forces carried out an operation in response to reports of terrorist activity.
“During the conduct of the operation, own troops, after stealthily surrounding the khwarij location, effectively engaged them and resultantly all ten khwarij were sent to hell,” according to the ISPR.
Additionally, it said that Captain Hasnain Akhtar, who was commanding his troops from the front, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat amid the fierce firefight.
