MULTAN: The spin attack of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali tore through the visiting team in their opening innings, giving Pakistan a 202-run advantage over the West Indies on the second day of the first Test match at the Multan Cricket Stadium on Saturday.
Pakistan’s skipper Shan Masood batted with opening batsman Muhammad Huraira as the second innings got underway.
After Huraira scored 29 runs, Jomel Warrican got rid of him. Babar Azam, the opener’s replacement, was dismissed by the spinner after he scored again (five off 11 balls).
Kamran Ghulam then joined Masood, and when he scored 52 runs, the captain went back to the dugout, leaving Pakistan at 106-3.
Before the game was halted because of Saud Shakeel, Ghulam batted him for a few overs.
