At the age of 56, he passed away in a hospital after collapsing on stage during a performance in Connecticut in August.
The PA agency was informed by a representative of the Connecticut chief medical examiner’s office that the individual in question had both hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease.
Known by his real name, Isaac Freeman III, he gained popularity in the UK in 2003 with his hit song “Be Faithful” and in 2015 as a cast member of Celebrity Big Brother.
Throughout his career, he also worked with a lot of well-known musicians, including
David Guetta and Timbaland.
His family gave a statement about him at the time of his passing.
It also added that he was the humor in our life and an ever-present source of courage, strength, and support.
Scoop’s agency, MN2S, stated at the time of his passing that his “legacy will live on through his timeless music.” Scoop is recognized as one of New York’s most prominent hip hop stars of the 1990s.
The spokesman continued, “Scoop was a well-liked figure in the music industry, with countless fans all over the world enjoying his work.”
His distinctive voice, contagious enthusiasm, and endearing demeanor left a lasting impression on the business.
