Doechii, whose true name is Jaylah Ji’mya Hickmon, won Best Rap Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards, making her the third female winner.

“I know there is some Black girl out there,” the rapper added, sending a positive message to all Black women.
“There are a lot of Black women watching me right now, and I want to let them know that you can succeed.”
