Throughout his reelection campaign, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made sure the tech billionaire got a shoutout for being one of his most ardent supporters, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla.
Trump, 78, spoke to his fans in Florida on Wednesday after defeating News’ prediction to win the US presidency.
Trump complimented Musk, the richest man in the world, and his family throughout his speech, according to Today.
The crowd erupted in applause as Trump remarked, “A star is born,” about Musk.
“He is a wonderful man… “We campaigned for two weeks in Philadelphia and various locations throughout Pennsylvania,” he stated.
Musk, 53, played a key role in Trump’s reelection by transforming his social media account, X, into a campaign platform.
