Due to possible traffic closures in the capital and the November 24 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) demonstration, Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) closed its campus from Friday until Monday.
The university administration has announced that all academic activities, including scheduled exams, would be suspended on Friday and Monday. On certain days, the university’s transportation service will also not be available.
Exams and academic activities won’t begin until the area’s highways reopen, the government stressed.
The letter further stated, “Students will be given sufficient time to prepare for and retake the postponed exams in order to ensure fairness.”
PTI leader Barrister Saif stated a few days ago that plans were in motion to hold the demonstration and public meeting on Sunday, November 24.
