Due to a hamstring injury, Real Madrid striker Vinicius Jr. will not play in the Champions League encounter against Liverpool.
The Brazilian international was eventually diagnosed with a left biceps femoris injury despite playing the entire game in Real Madrid’s recent 3-0 triumph against Leganes.
Vinicius Jr. was consequently left off of the 19-man roster that will go to Anfield for the pivotal game, in which Real Madrid will take on the top side in the Champions League standings.
Although the club has not yet acknowledged the severity of his injury, reports from Spain indicate he may be out for three weeks.
