LAHORE: Due to the smog-filled district’s still poisonous climate, the district education administration has ordered the “immediate” suspension of all activities in both public and private schools.
Teachers have also been instructed to instruct remotely during the “smog holidays,” per a notification released by the authorities.
According to the notification, the authority has ordered the suspension of parent-teacher conferences, field trips, athletic events, and any other school-related get-togethers or events held on campus.
“Furthermore, it is directed that teaching staff in public schools will continue their duties online, working from home to ensure that academic progress is maintained during this period,” it continued.
The notification did, however, note that the anti-dengue efforts would continue as usual.
