According to a report released on Sunday by the Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen), during the 2024 general elections, female voters in 18% of communities within the authority of male and female polling stations cast ballots that differed from those of their male counterparts in National Assembly constituencies.
Today, the non-governmental poll observer released its most recent report on the 2024 national polls, titled “Women’s Voting Choices: Significance & Impact on Electoral Outcomes.”
It examined the outcomes of polling stations for men and women in the same communities and discovered that, in 82% of the localities, the winners selected by male and female voters were identical, as each group returned the same polling station winner.
