The 41-year-old celebrity referred to the early 2000s event as “a very different time” in her description.
“In the 2000s, and this did happen to me, it was considered normal to ask an actor to make out with other actors to test for chemistry, which is actually the worst way to do it,” the actress said in an interview with Magazine.
“They informed me you were cast for the ten guys that are arriving today. Can’t you wait to make out with each and every one of them? I wasn’t excited, so I wondered, “Is there something wrong with me?” It sounded awful to me.
I was young and acutely aware of how easily one could lose everything by being labeled as “difficult,” so I chose to act excitedly and carried on. Nobody was attempting to be mean or harm me; it wasn’t a power move.
