The author of “The Making of a King: King Charles III and the Modern Monarchy,” Robert Hardman, a Daily Mail contributor, told News that the king has been advised to keep his “stress levels down” rather than respond to his younger son’s communications.
The 75-year-old’s diagnosis of an unidentified type of cancer was revealed by Buckingham Palace in February.
“Why doesn’t he see Harry when he is in town?” is a question that I am aware people frequently ask. Why are they unable to make amends? Hardman clarified. However, at the moment, it seems like our only task is to keep the king’s stress levels low.
“There’s a lot to unpack if you listen to what Harry has said in his book, TV series, and interviews,” Hardman added. “He wants to sort out a lot of stuff to go through and process. There is a feeling that now is not the right moment. The king, though, would probably like to normalize things.
When News asked for comment, a Buckingham Palace official did not immediately respond.
