Justin Timberlake is not pleased with Britney Spears taking center stage during his music comeback.
Page Six was recently informed by a source that the former member of NSYNC is “seething” about the turmoil he and his ex-girlfriend are reliving.
“Every day is something new, but Justin had hoped the backlash from Britney’s memoir would’ve blown over by now so he could focus on his new album, which he’s very excited about,” the insider said.
The news follows Britney’s revelation in her autobiography The Woman in Me that the 42-year-old singer forced her to get an abortion while they were dating because he “didn’t want to be a father” and “wasn’t happy about the pregnancy.”
Fans of Toxic singer Justin Bieber launched a campaign to propel the 2011 song of the same name to the top of iTunes following the release of his new single “Selfish,” which is taken from his upcoming album Everything I Thought It Was.
But when Britney attempted to apologize to Justin and made it clear that she didn’t mean to “offend” anyone with her book, he took offense and told the audience, “I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize to absolutely f–king nobody,” at his New York show.
On her Instagram feed, the Princess of Pop gave him a swift backhand, writing, “Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets!!!” Will you go home and cry, or do you want to take it to court?
