General Syed Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), emphasized the Pakistan Army’s determination to fully defend the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity on Wednesday, vowing that no act of aggression would go unpunished.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, the army commander made these comments while paying tribute to the martyrs’ sacrifices in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to the ISPR, he paid heartfelt homage to the Shuhada’s unmatched sacrifices and deposited a flower wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument upon his arrival at the Jammu and Kashmir Monument.
In addition to honoring the Kashmiri dead, the COAS praised the deployed officers’ unshakable commitment, professional excellence, and battle readiness.
