On Sunday afternoon, there were tremors in the Kalat province of Balochistan; the Pakistan Meteorological Department reported a magnitude of 4.5 earthquake.
The epicenter of the seismic activity was roughly 13 kilometers south of Kalat, and the activity was recorded at a depth of 25 kilometers.
Despite the magnitude of the earthquake, authorities in Kalat and the surrounding areas reported no fatalities or major property damage.
But a lot of people were terrified by the vibrations and hurried to leave their houses. People would congregate in public areas during difficult times and recite passages from the Holy Quran to find comfort and protection.
The public has been advised by local authorities to maintain composure and awareness while keeping an eye out for any potential aftershocks.
