Following an attack on Wednesday afternoon on 38-year-old Jade Anthony Barnett, two men have been taken into custody.
According to the Metropolitan Police, a man had been stabbed after an altercation in Rushmore Road, Clapton, on Wednesday at 3:38 p.m.
Despite receiving care from paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, he was declared dead on the spot.
The PA news agency was informed by his 45-year-old Hackney sister Simone Barnett that her brother was “jolly, cheerful, caring” and “he never took nothing too seriously, he laughed everything off”.
His pals claimed he had moved to the Stratford neighborhood, but he and his mother had previously lived in Clapton.
It is thought that in a motorcycle accident in 2007, he lost his leg.
After being taken into custody, two guys, ages 28 and 21, are being held at a police station in east London.
Late on Wednesday night, an electric wheelchair in black and gray color was spotted near a forensics tent, behind the cordon.
Detective Chief Superintendent James Conway, who oversees police in Tower Hamlets and Hackney, stated: “My investigators are putting a lot of effort into determining the circumstances of what has transpired, but our inquiry is still in its early stages.
