According to reports, Ed Sheeran is starting his own charitable foundation to support up-and-coming performers.
According to an insider who spoke to The Sun, the 33-year-old musician founded The Ed Sheeran Foundation with the goal of encouraging others to pursue careers in music.
In October, Sheeran, whose worth is estimated by The Irish Times to be at least $200 million, filed the charity foundation with the Charity Commission.
According to the insiders, the foundation would provide scholarships to people and organizations in addition to counseling and support for aspiring musicians.
