Due to Shab-e-Barat, which falls on the fifteenth night of the current Islamic month of Shaban, the Sindh Education Department has declared that all educational institutions throughout the province will be closed on Friday, February 14.
All public and private educational institutions within the administrative jurisdiction of the School Education and Literacy Department would be closed on February 14th, according the announcement released by the education department.
The vacation has been declared in accordance with the choices made by the education steering committee’s Sindh subcommittee.
Muslims observe Shab-e-Barat, the holiest night between Shaban 14 and 15, in order to ask Allah Ta’ala for pardon.
People will visit cemeteries to offer prayers, and special religious events will be place across the nation.
